Ergo Stick
Concept Design: Hockey Goalie’s Stick

In all sports, analysis of the player’s movements can lead to innovations and superior performance, as in this design for a hockey goaltender’s stick. Ergonomic studies combined with player information showed that many players suffer chronic wrist injuries associated with repeated stress. The new, patented design, made of foam-injected carbon-fiber reinforced resin, allows the hand to grip the stick in a more effective, relaxed position, resulting in less fatigue and greater control.
