Rapattoni Lock Box

Developed for real estate professionals, this lock box is a sophisticated “smart” device, preventing unauthorized entry by locking the keys to a residence inside and simultaneously recording user visits via a USB memory stick. The design had to be tamperproof, withstand extreme outdoor conditions, and be intuitive to use. Polychrome was responsible for user research studies, industrial design, and interaction design.
